4/9/26

Dear members of the American Resistance,

L’heure est grave. If Iran and Gaza are bombarded in a literal way, the People in the US (us) is bombarded in a metaphoric one. In Michigan, we are dealing with the following time bombs: FLOCK drones flying over our heads in Oakland County (one flew over me yesterday at 2 pm as I was walking out of my home), multiple AI data centers, Romulus ICE detention center, Southfield ICE office. Oh, and draft is making a comeback! But, wait! Weren’t we supposed to wipe the whole nation out a few days ago? I guess that’s why we need draft now, cause a Blitzkrieg Genocide was a little too much, even for a very deranged little man who watched Star Wars too much.

Several things as always, but let’s keep our focus on the most important actions we need to take:

1.  TOMORROW MORNING (APRIL 10) AT 9:30 AM > Tell all our cities and townships that we want no ICE in Western Wayne County! CONFERENCE OF WESTERN WAYNE.Come say you want NON-COOPERATION with ICE. The meeting takes place at 9:30 a.m. at the Livonia Senior Wellness Center, 32001, Five Mile Road, Livonia, 48154.

We already know that our police departments do not have a formal agreement with ICE, a 287(g). Some of our municipalities also have policies against the police working with ICE, but these are hard to find on their websites.

Each city and township needs to issue a PUBLIC, HIGHLY VISIBLE STATEMENT like the one the Livonia Police Department has already posted.

“The Livonia Police Department has not worked in conjunction with ICE and/or Border Patrol to actively look for violators of immigration laws. The Livonia Police Department has not accompanied federal immigration agents to residences in Livonia or elsewhere to conduct immigration enforcement. The City of Livonia does not have a 287(g) agreement or any other memorandum of understanding with federal immigration agencies. A 287(g) agreement gives local law enforcement training and authority to enforce immigration law.”

We will also ask each city and township to pass a resolution that prohibits ICE from coming onto city and township property. The cities of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti and Washtenaw County have already done this, so we have models to guide us.

2. Recall Oakland County commissioner David Woodward

Yesterday 4/8, a crowd of people showed up to oppose Flock safety drones at the Oakland County Board of Commissioners meeting. Guess what happened! After starting the meeting an hour late, the board voted to move all public comments to the end of the meeting and proceeded to vote to approve Flock Drones without listening to a single word.

The drones were approved by chairman David Woodward (D), Penny Luebs (D), Michael Spisz (R), Michael Gingell (R), Bob Hoffman (R), Karen Joliat (R), Christine Long (R), Philip Weipert (R), Robert Smiley (R), William Miller (D), Linnie Taylor (D), Marcia Gershenson (D), Angela Powell (D) who proposed moving public comment to the end, Gwen Markham (D), and Yolanda Charles (D), and, absent from the meeting, Brendan Johnson (D). They will not be up for reelection until 2028.

As a result, let’s recall David Woodward. This is not the first time this has happened. The recall requires wet signatures from registered voters in district 1 (parts of Royal Oak, Troy, and Birmingham) Please contact DebateHer if you can sign or help.

And if you want the full story, Distill Social wrote this comprehensive article.

Oh! By the way, would you like to know where the Flock Cameras are around us? You can check them out before they check YOU out, thanks to the DeFlock tracker.
