A few of us just got off the public hearing with EGLE about the data center in Saline. A lot of people made excellent comments that clearly showed the multiple ways data centers are harmful to us and to the environment without creating any real benefit. Please continue to call Whitmer, Peters, and Slotkin to urge them to oppose the data center implementation and the consequential ecocide.
Here is another petition to stop the data center in Washington Twp.
A bit more on the environmental front: if you are fond of wolves (and even if you are not fully in love with their raw beauty), please consider submitting a comment to protect them asking Congress to VOTE NO on Anti-Wolf Bill H.R. 845. This will send a message to Slotkin, Peters, and your rep.

Note that you can park for free in the streets, but that day the Lions are expected to play, so parking will be tight. We recommend you park up Woodward and use the Q-Line to get to Grand Circus or carpool with other members to get to Central Church parking lot and park for free (we will have a few spots available for us). The day before, 12/20, CAFE and Councilman Mikal Goodman are hosting the (rescheduled from last Saturday) protest against ICE inPontiac, 100 Lewis St. at noon.
Thanks to 🧡Sean🧡, we flash-raised all the money to offer a holiday meal to the families of the two elementary schools in Detroit that 🧡Seek Deliverance🧡, our wonderful mutual aid partner, takes care of and that we supported on Thanksgiving!
